The Power Within You
We all know the old saying “watch what you wish for…”
Well, we have all wished ourselves into the life we lead. So, if it’s not what you want, you have to alter your wish. Let me explain…
When we are born, we are put into the lives our parents have wished for themselves or I should say, what they believe they deserve to lead. As we age and become able to wish or believe in what we deserve to lead, that is when we are in control.
To clear up what I have just stated, during our childhood, our brains are manipulated and filled by adults, by what they say, how they act and what they teach us. As children, we do not realize the impact of all of this. But as we mature, it becomes our choice to continue that same life, change the things we do not want, believe or not believe the things that we were shown, taught or told. That is to say, keep the same baggage, change it up a little, or get rid of it all and start with brand new luggage. The latter is very hard to do because we all need roots or a starting point.
It is way easier said than done! But the younger we start the more chances we have to change our “programming”. Like a computer, we have been feed information and it is up to us to purge the unnecessary and correct the misinformation given. However, unlike a computer, we are the only ones that can change that programming, there are no computer techs for our brains. Some of us are apathetic and simply choose to remain on the same path, accept this information blindly, some are victims, meager and confused and simply do not know how to change our path, but some are strong and determined, they are the ones that succeed. The lucky ones: but not at all, they are the ones who chose to change their paths and were strong enough and determined enough to realize they wanted and deserved more. We must all realize it is never too late, just harder.
There is no magic potion, no luck involved, simply “deprogramming” and “reprogramming” your brain from the information inputted. Correcting some information, purging some and learning new information. It is that simple! You get what you wish for! But here’s the thing, you get “exactly” what you “really” wish for. Therefore, if someone is constantly wishing to be rich with no worries and, in their mind, they tell themselves: “I hate my life, when will I get a break?” That is not the thought of someone rich with no worries. In your mind, you must believe and program your brain that whatever you are doing now is merely a means to attain your goal. You will be where you want to be soon. That does not mean that this will come without efforts. As I said, this is not magic. If someone’s goal is to become a successful business person, they will need to learn about business or if they want to be successful in any field they will need to learn about that field, however, with a positive energy and a belief that this is simply due to them, that it is truly their life’s path because they truly believe this, and that is what they want and deserve then, they will reach their goal successfully. The perfect example of this is Oprah Winfrey.
We all are energy beings. The entire universe and its inhabitants are simply energy. The energy that surrounds us and the energy that is within us is a direct reflection of our brain programming and choice.
The old saying: “birds of a feather, flock together.” This simply means you keep the same company that you believe you deserve. The same energy as you, the same life path choice. Bad energy retains bad energy, good/positive energy, successful energy, attracts success and success means you have or will reach your goal and the life you want for yourself which in turn brings you happiness and happiness is positive energy!
Now, there are some of you who are saying this cannot be true because there are many people with bad energies that are rich, famous and successful. Prosperity and success does not necessarily mean happiness and without happiness, one has not truly succeeded. One does not need to be rich to be happy and feel they have succeeded to travel the life path they believe they want and deserve. Therefore, these bad energy people have been programmed (by their parents, peers, people they have congregated with (flocked) or they have programmed their brains to be where they are today, and the bad energy simply means they are NOT happy, thus, not completely successful. Many of the rich and famous have bad energy, if you take a moment to think of how their lives must be you will realize, they cannot be happy, and their actions reflect just that. Many lost their way without ever realizing it. To be happy, one's must-have positive energy and balance. Without balance, success can quickly goes to one’s head and change positive energy into negative energy.
There are many ways to attain your goals. There are many ways to reprogram your brain. And many ways to sabotage it all! As I mentioned in the beginning, it is easier said than done, and we must never lose sight of our goal.
With time, observation and experience, I have cracked the secret! I am sure many of us have. However, few are ready to put in the time and effort and simply doubt.
Here is the non-fail proof method is as follows:
• Be positive and stay positive
• Work hard to learn your chosen goal
• Surround yourself with positive individual
• Surround yourself with individuals with the same goals
• Believe in yourself and believe you deserve your goal
• Stay true and kind and you will always be balanced
• Do not worry about others and what they think – if you are true and kind you will be beyond reproach and judgment.
To help do all this, self-reflection is extremely important. Self-reflection is looking at yourself in the mirror and seeing your inner self, what you have become, your morals, your values, and your emotions. Self-reflection is in a sense a sort of meditation. As well, programing your brain or self planting information is self-hypnosis. Brainwashing yourself to believe in your goal and the life you deserve by implanting these thoughts into your brain, without doubts or judgment.
Our brain possesses 5 senses in order to retain information. Therefore, in order to retain information and making this information “set” or stick in our brain, it only makes sense that the more senses used to associate the information we wish to retain as a natural part of our brains, the more likely it will become an automatic way of thinking or making it stick. Thus, while meditating, reflecting and brainwashing our minds, it is helpful to include our senses. Such as, soft nonlyrical musical background, pleasant smells surrounding us and visualization of our goals without doubts, all the while relaxing and enjoying the comfort of a favorite place with a soft blanket or something that comforts our sense of touch. By doing this meditation, as often as possible, it will lead these thoughts to become a “no-brainer” or brainwash, they will simply be.
This can be used for everything in our lives: health, weight, happiness, things, dreams, addictions and success… The only secret is to believe, truly believe without any doubts or judgments and an open mind. Can you do it?
